Ane Christophersen nominated to "Female Entrepreneur of the Year"
Ane Christophersen is one of six nominated candidates for Innovation Norway's award, Female Entrepreneur of the Year (“Årets Kvinnelig Gründer 2012”). The
candidates will present themselves for the jury in early February.

Ane Christophersen has been awarded the prestigious title of nr 1 management talent in South-West Norway ("E24 Ledertalentene").
The winners were selected from a list put together by Mercuri Urval of over 1000 talents throughout Norway.
Nor-Shipping 2011

WindFlip granted worldwide patent protection
WindFlip has recently been grated an international PCT-patent covering key aspects of the unique concept behind WindFlip.
The patent application was written by the Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton, a law firm located in Boston, USA.
WindFlip is one of 10 companies to compete in the Nordic Cleantech Open final in Copenhagen
In competition with more than 80 clean tech start-ups from the Nordic region, WindFlip was selected as one of 10 companies to compete for the Cleantech Open award in Copenhagen in April. The 10 finalists were selected by a jury consisting of investors and industry experts from the cleantech industry. WindFlip was awarded a place in the final after a cleantech event in Sweden in February, where 25 companies pitched their business opportunity to the jury.

Ane Christophersen and WindFlip won Firsprangprisen October 2010
The award of 35 000 NOK was presented by Sparebanken Vest, Innovation Norway, Stavanger Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Rogalands Avis.
WindFlip AS has successfully completed the company's first share issue
The group of investors, with TEFT as lead investor, has committed capital and other strategic resources which secure the further development of WindFlip AS. The resources will be spent over the next 18 months to expand the organization and to finish import product development tasks.
WindFlip AS has established a new board of directors
As part of the seed investment in September 2010 WindFlip AS has established a new board of directors. The board consists of highly experienced people who aim to take an active role in WindFlip.
The board is lead by Egil Kvannli, with Ingvald Løyning, Terje Halmø and Eirik Hogner as new board members.
Ane Christophersen won Djervhetsprisen 2010
Ane Christophersen was awarded a prize of NOK 100.000 for her work as the CEO and founder of WindFlip AS.
WindFlip won the Norwegian Cleantech Award
WindFlip won the Norwegian Cleantech Award in competition with four other Norwegian clean-tech companies. The prize consists of 10.000 euro and was handed over by the US ambassador in Oslo.
WindFlip wins Venture Cup 2010
The WindFlip team won the regional Venture Cup final in Trondheim and was awarded 150.000 in prize money.

WindFlip wins European innovation award
WindFlip was awarded 2nd place in European Hopefuls for Innovation 2010 during the yearly Innovact conference in Reims, France. The panel was impressed by the concept and how far the team had come since they first started two years ago.

WindFlip is being tested
WindFlip is currently being tested in the research facilities of MARINTEK in Trondheim. The test will confirm
and strenghten the results we have obtained from two years of design and simulation. For us this is an important
milestone and will form the foundation for the future design and construction of a full scale WindFlip barge.
The testing is part of a research and development contract between WindFlip AS, Innovation Norway and Statoil ASA.
